Urban Metaalbewerking B.V
Urban Metaalbewerking is a subsidiary of a well-established German company, Urban Metallverarbeitung GmbH. Our core business is metal works, and we specialize in shaping armored plating, thick aluminium and other tough alloys (but we are not limited to these materials!).
We process small parts of e.g. 10cm up to large parts of 8m. Our ambition is to go to 16m if required by our customers.
We take pride in delivering products where others cannot meet requirements. With respect to our competitors, we stand out due to the quality we deliver, precision of our end products with respect to tolerances, on-product quality and on-time delivery.
We do not restrict ourselves to the make industry but also take our responsibility as advisor in up- and downstream production processes. We participate in design reviews and make proposals to increase quality and cost-effectiveness for the products we make.
We currently only make semi-finished parts but we strive towards delivering complete solutions in the future. To achieve this, we are currently busy with building a new ~10.000m2 factory in the South-East of the Netherlands.
The factory in The Netherlands shall be equipped with multiple small CNC milling tools, 2 large flatbed CNC milling tools (8x3m), different sizes of presses: 300T/3m, 1000T/6m & 2000T/8m, a laser capable of cutting up to 30mm thickness (8x3m) and a sandblasting facility.
In the foreseeable future we will also acquire (robot) welding facilities and create an assembly line. Coating and other finishing steps are also on our wish list but first things first.
