We got our start in intelligence and defense, assisting the United States in counterterrorism investigations and operations, and then applied our frontline deployment learnings to support commercial enterprises. We now serve 50+ industries and offer three principal software platforms: Palantir Gotham, Palantir Foundry, and Palantir Apollo.
For over a decade, Palantir Gotham has surfaced insights for global defense agencies, the intelligence community, disaster relief organizations, and more. Palantir Foundry is transforming the way that organizations operate by becoming a central operating system for their data, for both individual institutions and entire industries. All the while, Palantir Apollo coordinates ongoing delivery of new features, security updates, and platform configurations to help ensure the continuous operation of critical systems – and allowing our customers to run their software in virtually any environment.
As of December 31, 2021, more than 2900 Palantir employees work in offices around the globe, including in New York, Palo Alto, London, Amsterdam and our headquarters in Denver.
