The NIDV has today added a unique event to the list of activities. In collaboration with the Dutch Embassy in Washington and the Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) team of the US Department of Defense, an information meeting was held for Dutch companies to inform them about the possibilities to cooperate. It is a program specially intended for countries other than the US to get to know new technologies and innovative applications. This could result in a partnership with the United States Department of Defense.

There were presentations by the program manager, Colonel Corey Beaverson, and all branches of the armed forces. Companies can submit their contribution to the Dutch embassy until April 30, after this date the submitted proposals will be assessed for feasibility.
