The NIDV was in Warsaw from February 25 – 27th with a large number of NIDV participants for a mission to Poland. This mission brought Dutch and Polish companies and knowledge institutions together around strategic technology to strengthen partnerships and exploit opportunities within the European Defence Fund (EDF). This is important because, in a rapidly changing security context, it is essential that European countries and their defence industries work together more closely.
Through targeted matchmaking, substantive sessions and strategic dialogue, concrete steps have been taken towards consortium formation and joint innovation.
Poland is a key player in the European defence industry, with a strong investment agenda and growing industrial capacity. Dutch technological expertise and Polish production capacity and scale complement each other well. This offers clear opportunities for sustainable cooperation.
