Over the last two years, we have established working relationships with several Netherlands Based technical organizations. At the 2023 National Space Symposium, we announced a partnership with FSO Instruments to commercialize space laser communications. To further expand these relationships, build upon joint capabilities, and be closer to our customers and their missions, Astrion has established Axient Systems with an office in Delft, the Netherlands. This office, located at Olof Palmestraat 10, 2616 LR Delft, places Axient Systems near those partners and in a new market for Axient in the aerospace community.
At this new location, our solutions and service offerings will focus on three main business areas: Space Systems Engineering, Critical Asset Security, and Modeling, Simulation and Analysis. These areas directly leverage Astrion’s core capabilities, and with the new location and existing partnerships, Axient Systems will further develop those capabilities and utilize their experience to collaborate and offer more expertise to serve civil, defense, and commercial customers in the Netherlands and in the United States.
Space Systems Engineering
We deliver full life-cycle systems engineering – from mission concept and payload to launch certification and post-mission analysis.
Our expertise spans smallsat and cubesat systems, sensor architecture, mission assurance, and on-orbit operations, ensuring resilient and effective space solutions.
Critical Asset Security
We provide tailored protection for vital infrastructure by integrating advanced multi-sensor systems, situational awareness solutions, and field-tested operations support.
Our approach includes threat assessment, systems architecture, performance testing, and post-event analysis – all designed to secure critical assets in complex environments. As a system-agnostic partner, we help clients choose and implement the most effective, scalable technologies across 300+ compatible platforms.
Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis
We deliver advanced modeling and simulation capabilities to support mission planning, system development, and performance evaluation. By creating accurate digital representations of complex systems – including air and missile defense scenarios – we help reduce risk, improve readiness, and enhance decision-making.
Our capabilities include digital twin development, wargame simulations, multi-sensor modeling, and live virtual, and constructive (LVC) environments. With powerful simulation tools and proven frameworks, we turn data into insight – before operations begins.
